When I got home yesterday, I almost burst into tears because I just couldn't stand all the restrictions from my boss - too tired, he wouldn't let me take a break, and his management style was too rigid! When my husband said that in the future, if we start our own business, we won't have to worry so much, I was especially excited at first, but then I thought, "Is that true? Wouldn't we have this depressing feeling if we were our own bosses? But who can guarantee that new problems won't arise? What am I really after? Will it really be completely easy then? Will I be happy all the time?
Working for someone else, you have to put up with the boss's temper and rules.
When you go it alone, you have to deal with the nitpicking and pressure of customers.
There's an old analogy that money is often compared to feces in Zhou Gong's interpretation of dreams. Western thought also speaks of the unity of opposites - if you want to make money, you have to accept the painlessness it brings.
The good thing is that we have a choice - like continue to put up with the boss? Or put in the effort to cozy up to our clients? Or improve our ability to survive loneliness and anxiety? Of course, you can also choose to stay away from the hustle and bustle and don't want the brass tacks, but that means freedom plus poverty.
Maybe when we figure out that "making money and putting up with negativity are the same thing," we can become numb to our worries. The key is to find the balance that makes you comfortable!
Good luck.
